A patola showroom opened in July 2026 by a family business that says it has worked with the weave for more than forty years. It is set up partly to explain how double-ikat patola is tied, dyed and woven, and is aimed at brides, collectors and visiting NRIs. Being new, it has little independent track record yet.

Patan Patola is a double ikat silk saree from Patan in north Gujarat, woven by a few families of the Salvi community, who are believed to have come from Maharashtra in the twelfth century under the Solanki kings.
