Family house · Hyderabad
An old Koti-area cloth emporium, described as about 80 years old, selling sarees, fabrics and dress materials. Its speciality is Pochampally silk, sourced directly from the weaving villages, along with Kanchipuram silks and fabrics from other towns. Prices are reported to be close to those in Pochampally itself, which makes it a useful stop for ikat buyers.

Pochampally (Bhoodan Pochampally) is a town in Yadadri Bhuvanagiri district of Telangana, about 40 km from Hyderabad, and the centre of a cluster of more than eighty weaving villages, including Koyalagudem, Puttapaka, Siripuram and Choutuppal, that produce ikat sarees and fabrics.
Kanchipuram, the temple town about 75 km south-west of Chennai, is the best-known silk weaving centre in Tamil Nadu, and its sarees are widely regarded as the classic south Indian bridal silk.
